Arwen (2005-2015?)
Queen of the Pets, Arwen has not lost her attachment to the wild. She often stays out one or two nights a week. Fortunately, she is well-insulated. Otherwise she can usually be found curled up on her mistress Jamie's bed, or wherever she needs to be to avoid the dogs (she is not a dog fancier). (On 11/17/15 Arwen went out for an evening soirée and has yet to return. We hope she’s happy in her new home...and try not to dwell on other alternatives.)
Dixie (2001-2011)

What you see here is an experiment. Never in his life has Jeff had a dog. But he finally gave in after years of asking, and this is the result. Dixie is definitely in the "full-size dog" category. And has a bark that could wake the dead. But she is a nice dog, if a bit obstinate. (On 11/11/11 Dixie began guarding the gates of doggie heaven. RIP, Dix.)

Cora (b. 2006)

So Anna got her cat finally. Except Cora thinks she's a puma. She often lies in wait on top of the rocking chair, taking swipes at any prey that happens by (such as the top of a dog's tail). She's on the small side, but more than makes up for what she might lack in stature with attitude. She completely dominates both dogs...from a discreet distance, of course.

Roxie (b. 2007)

Hey, if one dog is good, then two must be... Anyway, "we" decided that Dixie needed a friend, so a quick trip to the pound et voila!, Roxie. She is a very cute and smart puppy. Shows much more promise than her "big sister". But she is a puppy, which means life is one big chew toy, and the world is one big latrine. But look how cute she is!
